Non-medical home care services

Support for the routines that make life feel like yours.

Care may begin with one practical need—or a combination of personal help, mobility support, companionship, recovery assistance, and family caregiver relief.

Find the right starting point

Care is organized around the person—not a preset package.

These service groups make the options easier to understand. The actual plan should reflect the individual’s requested tasks, schedule, home setting, preferences, and caregiver availability.

Important distinction

Home care is not the same as home health.

A Rainbow of Care, HC’s stated scope is non-medical. Caregivers can support daily routines but do not provide skilled nursing, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.

Understand the difference

Not sure which service fits?

Start with the day, not the label.

  1. 1

Which parts of the day feel difficult, risky, or exhausting?

  2. 2

When would support matter most, and who needs to stay informed?

  3. 3

What routines, preferences, and boundaries should care respect?
